actor & model
Georges Gay, was born on the 3rd of April 1976, in the region of Orleans located in the heart of France. At the tender age of 9, Georges reaches an epiphany : he wants to be an actor ! Said dream would never leave him and would furthermore lead him down a path of both acting and modeling. At 15 years of age, he signs up for the local conservatory of dramatic arts. In 1995, 4 years later, he is awarded first prize for best performance. At the age of 18, he is cast in the role of Christian from the play Cyrano de Bergerac, written by Edmond Rostand. This would prove to be a real professional break as the play went on tour before finding its’ mainstay at the famed Ranelagh Theatre, located in Paris.
Georges, eager to continue down his newfound path, decides to move to the capital whereupon a diverse selection of roles begin to come his way. Georges’ career also fared well in film as he was cast in a number of supporting roles both in tv and cinema.
In parallel with acting, he is also able to balance a modeling career which began quickly after his move to Paris. He is photographed by such notable professionals as Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel; eventually leading him to work closely with Tom Ford who enlisted Georges as his muse for the brand name YSL.
At the age of 30, he decides to leave for Spain, specifically to the port city of Barcelona, guided by a love affair. It is during this period that Georges would reassess his commitment to the world of theatre, all the while continuing to work as an actor, chiefly in the local commercial industry.
In the year 2014, his vocation as an actor once again becomes a strong point in his life and the undeniable ensuing passion that was always a part of him, leads to various intensive courses where he is reunited with his innate desire, and his ambition, to rekindle his career.
He currently divides his time between Paris and Barcelona.
